Quilting Along the Grain: Making Changes.....
http://quiltingalongthegrain.blogspot.com/2016/10/making-changes.html
Saturday, 15 October 2016. 2016 so far has been a year of epic changes. moving house and town, changing schools -twice and changing job! As with any changes all of this has taken a toll on our family. We love where we now live in Stroud. It has taken 5 months but we finally feel at home. It is a great town with lovely walks into town and all sorts of lovely shops. So I have decided to stop teaching. I love teaching and passing on my skills and creating fabric addicts! Just some of the things I have been ...

http://wildflowerwoolknits.blogspot.com/2015/08/knit-camping-day-1.html
Hand Knitting for all Knitters Beginners to the most Adventurous! Saturday, August 15, 2015. Knit Camping Day 1. I was invited to join two other Knitters for a weekend of camping and knitting. Its Friday night and we are settled in the trailer, we have our knitting and are well stocked with chocolate. I also discovered that the drink holder in your lawn chair makes a good yarn holder :). Ahh, love the neat discovery of the drink/yarn holder! I will remember that one for when we camp next :).

Wildflower Wool Knits: Annual Trip to the Tent Sale
http://wildflowerwoolknits.blogspot.com/2015/08/annual-trip-to-tent-sale.html
Hand Knitting for all Knitters Beginners to the most Adventurous! Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Annual Trip to the Tent Sale. Yesterday was the start of Spinrite's annual tent sale in Listowel and a van load of us were there to check out the deals. We had two young knitters with us and they quickly picked out their yarn inside the store. Out in the tent it was super busy. When it's so crowded you can barely walk around you know the deals are great! Some selfies were taken. But it helped pass the time. I show...

Quilting Along the Grain: Sewing a Bunny!
http://quiltingalongthegrain.blogspot.com/2015/12/sewing-bunny.html
Thursday, 3 December 2015. This weekend midi monster has a birthday party to attend. It is the 10th birthday of his best friend. You may not know this, but midi monster is a very talent young sewer. He can happily set up a sewing machine and can sew patchwork blocks, quilt and make simple things. His best friend is also a young sewer, he has helped his mum set up her machine and discover stitches she didn't even know about! They both attended sewing classes with me earlier this year and loved it. Diary o...

http://quiltingalongthegrain.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 27 April 2014. New Classes - Malmesbury. Last week I had an exciting meeting at Dolly Bobbins,. Is a gorgeous yarn and craft shop, with a great space for teaching! The lovely owner Tracey contacted me after a student had recommended me as a sewing teaching. Luckily Tracey liked my ideas for classes and my totally obvious fabric addiction and we agreed some classes for May, which I thought I would share with you! Monday 12th and Monday 19th May - Hand Turn Applique Class. Monday, 21 April 2014.

Wildflower Wool Knits: Quilt Show
http://wildflowerwoolknits.blogspot.com/2015/08/quilt-show.html
Hand Knitting for all Knitters Beginners to the most Adventurous! Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Another reason that I like going to the cottage on this long weekend is because of the annual quilt show. The little fabric box worked well for holding my scissors and small yarn balls. I came home with two new wall hangings. I cant wait to hang them! I love quilt shows - Im always amazed at the talent people display. Looks like a perfect weekend - love your sewing basket and the beautiful wall hangings.

Wildflower Wool Knits: December 2014
http://wildflowerwoolknits.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Hand Knitting for all Knitters Beginners to the most Adventurous! Friday, December 19, 2014. One day late.but finished! The sock is finished! I didn't meet my self imposed deadline of Wednesday night; I finished shaping the toe in the wee hours of the morning last night (Thursday) but it's finished and I'm super happy about it! I'm not sure about the fate of this scarf. Even though it is a rib stitch the edges are still curling. I have a feeling it will be ripped out. Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Hi Kni...

Quilting Along the Grain: June 2014
http://quiltingalongthegrain.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 10 June 2014. One of the best things about being a sewing teacher is being able to buy fabric for classes! I get to buy lots of different types of fabric and often I buy things that don't suit my taste, but my students turn them into amazing items! I am always on the lookout for new places to buy fabric and to be able to recommend to my classes. Over the last week I have ordered from a shop I have been following for a while on social media - Plush Addict. I hadn't realised that Plush Addict.

Quilting Along the Grain: March 2015
http://quiltingalongthegrain.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, 15 March 2015. Once Upon a Star! During my break from blogging things changed dramatically here, I now have an actual job as a Community Development Worker! It is a job a love and builds on the teaching I have done in communities around the county. It has meant a massive shift in how my family works, I no longer have the freedom to manage my time that I had as a freelance teacher. It has been a major adjustment for us all, but one we have all come through still smiling! Part of a Christmas Star.
