Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Mary and John were instrumental in helping us get ready for the shower, and I can't thank them enough. I only regret that we worked them so hard while they were here. We definitely owe them a leisurely visit next summer. They've earned it! John (my John) had the idea to plant African Violets in Vlasic pickle jars (which picture a stork on the label) to give out to the winners of our shower games. Sunday, February 28, 2010. I went over to my parents' house tonight to help out with some grunt work for an ad campaign my Dad put together. As you can see, the ad is for an oral rabies vaccine for wild animals. My Dad designed the poster I am showcasing. I think we rolled up close to 500 posters tonight, and a lot of assembly remains to be done. Good luck, guys! This is what I did while John painted. Monday, June 28, 2010. Here's John's latest project. He painted our formerly white and boring beanbag toss boards (corn hole boards for you Mid-westerners). The mascots are actually stickers. I was shocked to come home to this project under way in my living room, but overall very pleased with the result (no red paint on the carpet, phew)! Sunday, June 20, 2010. Sunday, November 7, 2010. So, I had a difficult hearing on Friday. I won, but had to be pretty aggressive in my cross-examination of the opposing party. I was only doing my job, and the woman was awful, but sometimes it still makes me feel bad to really call someone out. Let's just say, I wouldn't want to be cross-examined! One couple kindly brought their Chiminea fireplace, so we were able to stay toasty. It got down to 29 last night! There was live music, and it was a lot of fun. Firm Outing in Atlanta.

Monday, November 23, 2009. So much to do! The Holidays are here! I am so excited! John and Lauren are coming in from Georgia tomorrow and I have been busy! Recently I have become incredibly organized with the help of Mary and Martha and have been non stop. Tonight I have wrapped the early Christmas presents that I am giving, cleaned the car, cleaned the entire apartment, done three loads of laundry, organized my things to take home, planned my outfits and painted my nails! Monday, March 29, 2010. John and I had a really nice weekend. On Friday night, I got together with a bunch of friends at my friend Madeline's house, and we had a wonderful time.
