Opp Family: January 2010
http://opp-family.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 11, 2010. Bah – bahs – def. a MAM pacifier (brand is important). We are Bah-bah free in our house. Almost two and a half years from it’s first suck to the last we have made it through. I will first start and say I eat my words entirely. I judged parents whose toddlers had pacifiers past their first birthday. I thought to myself, “I will never allow MY child to have a pacifier that late, absolutely ridiculous! 8221; Who the heck did I think I was? She surprisingly really took to this conve...

Opp Family: August 2009
http://opp-family.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 10, 2009. Or Lobster, I was really just trying to sound like a local, but failing miserably! Our first weekend up here we picked up 2 lobsters from the store – my first experience cooking lobster. Madeleine’s not too sure what to think with the lobster, however Abel (Noah and Mindy’s oldest) shows no fear! First we boiled the water in a big pot, then we (okay, Noah) snipped the bands off there claws (I was too chicken! After a few minutes they turn this beautiful color. Are you kidding me?

Opp Family: January 2012
http://opp-family.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 30, 2012. Ok, I know that Halloween was a ridiculously long time ago. However, I want to remember this past Halloween, if anything for the hours and hours I poured in to making the costume – ridiculous, I know. Okay, not really, but while the fight is not too great, I relinquish control. When we were thinking about what to be for Halloween, we went through the possibilities of all the princesses, and I was looking for some inspiration. Cha-ching! Her token silly face…. Opp Family: April 2010
http://opp-family.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 20, 2010. I love food – isn’t that obvious! I’ve been thinking a lot more about food lately. How it’s processed, what’s added in, things that I before thought was crazy mumbo jumbo I’m starting to pay more attention. One of my friends has given me some great resources on places you can look online for getting better food:. This links you to local farms, we’ve found a place where we can buy a half of a pasture-fed cow, much better meat for very reasonable prices. Posted by Opp Family. Goodb...

Opp Family: Cute Qwips
http://opp-family.blogspot.com/2012/03/cute-qwips.html
Monday, March 19, 2012. Madeleine’s teacher at church stopped me on Sunday and told me what Madeleine said in class the previous Sunday. The lesson was on prayer and how we begin our prayer by saying, “Heavenly Father”. Her teacher told me that Madeleine then announces to the whole class that Heavenly Father is not real to which one of her little friends in the class says, “yes he is, he’s a spirit! 8221;, she said she did, and I said, “How do you know you have a heart? Can you see it? Make It and Love It.

Opp Family: December 2009
http://opp-family.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 19, 2009. Santa came early via USPS. I love mail. I love mail soooo much. My favorite mail is from friends and family – oh how I love Christmas cards! There is, however, one thing I love more than cards and letters – packages. Today I received the best package from a very talented friend, Natalie. I opened my beautiful package and squealed with glee because this is what I saw…. Oh my, I am in L.O.V.E! I might as well die and go to heaven! Her logo and labels are too die for. In the spi...

Opp Family: I’m a runner now
http://opp-family.blogspot.com/2012/04/im-runner-now.html
Tuesday, April 10, 2012. I’m a runner now. That’s right. Uh huh. Although I did run track in high school, well, I was a sprinter and high jumper in high school and when my coach wanted us to do a 1 mile warm up, I would always make it seem like I was doing a 1 miler, but that NEVER happened! In fact even running 400 m was a stretch. Then in college I was motivated to drop my freshman 15 (more like freshman 20, hey, I’m an overachiever- okay? Crossing the finish line felt AMAZING! I ran the whole thing wi...

Opp Family: I’m a Shoe Addict–that’s the 1st step, right?
http://opp-family.blogspot.com/2012/03/im-shoe-addictthats-1st-step-right.html
Friday, March 2, 2012. I’m a Shoe Addict–that’s the 1st step, right? Luckily, I am a bargain shopper. I make about 70% of all Madeleine’s clothes which works great for being able to perfectly fit her small frame, plus saves me a lot of money. However, I haven’t the foggiest idea how to make shoes, nor do I care! I get the majority of Madeleine’s shoes from the seasonal consignment sales in our area, and I scored big time last night! The Fuller Family: Iowa Visit
http://fuller-fam.blogspot.com/2009/01/iowa-visit.html
Sunday, January 25, 2009. We had fun on our trip to Iowa right after Christmas. We left a couple of days after Christmas and it was a long trip! The drive was about 20 hours total. We did get caught up in some snow and ice in Kansas and had to stop for the night. We were disappointed bc we wanted to make the drive in one day without stopping. but we were close! Our other fun thing to do on the trip was watch all of the Rocky movies! Here is a link to our photo album for the trip.
