I arrived in Trishuli after a few hours seated on a local bus that wound its way through the terraced hillsides from Kathmandu collecting more and more people along the way until the aisle was jammed with 40 or more people and dozens scaled the ladder to the roof sitting precariously amongst the luggage. This was not my bus but you get the idea.
