All accommodation at Los Olivillos is provided in a traditional Andalusian style with rustic beams and typical interiors influenced by Moorish colours. We have guest rooms that suit couples, families and friends travelling together. They all have small kitchens and private bath/shower rooms. Guests can also relax by the private swimming pool and enjoy the extensive terraces and gardens. Where required, picnic lunches spanish style will be provided.

No matter what your riding experience or ability, you are very welcome at Los Olivillos we have 14 sure footed well behaved Spanish horses. Horse riding varies from gentle treks to the surrounding white villages of Competa, Frigiliana and Torrox through the breathtaking scenery of the National Park to the more extreme trekking across mountains to the Granada Province. All rides are led by an experienced guide.

We are approximately 1 hour from Malaga Airport. The nearest villages are Competa and Frigiliana, both less than 10km away. Los Olivillos Mountain Retreat is a rural finca / olive farm high up in the mountains accessed by an unmade road for 15 minutes that requires a 4x4 vehicle. For those visitors driving here, we can meet you at the bottom of the track and bring you up. Pick up and transfers can be arranged by request and costs are 77 euro each way paid locally.

The landscape within the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama National Park is a walkers paradise. There are high summits of which the highest is La Maroma at 2,080m, crags, springs, moorish trails and some fantastic river and waterfall hiking. All walks are led by experienced guides.
