Mike and Mavis: Fully Covered: Bratislava, Budapest & Vienna
http://mikeandmavis.blogspot.com/2012/04/bratislava-budapest-vienna.html
Mike and Mavis: Fully Covered. Friday, April 6, 2012. Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna. We spent a couple of days wandering around Bratislava, exploring the city center and a couple of local castles. Me usually leading the way, and Mike bringing up the rear with his camera. He just couldn't resist the beautiful architecture and dated buildings. Bratislava had some cool statues scattered throughout the downtown - we definitely did the tourist thing and posed with pretty much all of them. Do you think it is...

Mike and Mavis: Fully Covered: Kilimanjaro: Hakuna Matata My Ass!!
http://mikeandmavis.blogspot.com/2012/01/kilimanjaro-hakuna-matata-my-ass.html
Mike and Mavis: Fully Covered. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Kilimanjaro: Hakuna Matata My Ass! So, “Hakuna Matata” really does translate to “no worries” from Swahili. Unfortunately, the loveable faces of Timon and Pumba were far from our minds as our guides repeatedly used this phrase in an attempt to be positive. We headed out from a surprisingly busy park headquarters with pep in our step and two positive young Danish lads at our sides. Day 2 can again be summarized with 1 word, “RAIN”. We moved to a c...

Honeysuckle Cave Farm: Baby Foxes
http://honeysucklecavefarm.blogspot.com/2011/04/baby-foxes.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. We took a family vacation to Florida the week before Easter, and when we arrived back on the farm, all our chickens were gone. Then we saw this bunch playing in the field adjacent to our back yard. They were so cute, we didn't mind feeding them our chickens. But I STILL wouldnt want to lose my chickens! Were yours locked up? April 26, 2011 at 12:16 PM. So sorry to hear about your chickens! I HATE losing a whole flock like that. May 4, 2011 at 4:20 AM. Check out my other blog:.

Honeysuckle Cave Farm: July 2010
http://honeysucklecavefarm.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 22, 2010. Our broody hen, whom Cami named "Grace" (because she's nice and will let you pet her), has hatched herself a brood of 10 chicks! We thought we lost her, as we couldn't find her or her nest. Sometimes when you think harm has befallen you, it is really God making an improvement in your life. That's the lesson I learned from the chick surprise. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Western Kentucky State Fair. Friday, July 2, 2010. Puppy, Seal, or Polar Bear? Thursday, July 1, 2010.

Thursday, May 26, 2011. Thankfully, this old maple fell away from the house! Now the whole tree must be removed before it does fall on the house. This has been an incredibly stormy and tornado filled spring. We have had record rainfall and flooding. Wind, please be calm for a few days. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Honeysuckle Cave Farm: Snowiest Winter Ever
http://honeysucklecavefarm.blogspot.com/2011/02/snowiest-winter-ever.html
Thursday, February 10, 2011. This has been officially (according to me) the most snow we have ever had in one winter here in KY. Not much going on here on the farm worth reporting, but here are some pics: I call this one "icicle ears". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Check out my other blog:.
