Long ago. my friend Jamie Caldwell and I spoke about being the "mother hen" to all our friends. Jamie said she felt like she was meant to be the last of her friends to get married. Well I think Mrs. Jamie Caldwell Shelton has been married for four years or so. And obviously she was not the ultimate mother hen. I love you, Jodi! At the cabin....

Friday, December 25, 2009. Sticky Buns. (Pecans, brown sugar and karo syrup.) Yum. Note to self: Don't use a spring form release pan to bake them in. The sticky stuff leaked out and burned on the bottom of my oven and filled the kitchen with smoke. Thank goodness for a self cleaning oven.). Cinnamon rolls for the purists in the family. Saturday, July 7, 2012. Thomas and Avery were playing tag with their friends outside when Thomas came running in to show me this giant leaf he had found. He was so excited about it. He even got a marker out and gave Mr. leaf a face. It was about the size of an 8x10 piece of paper. I love this kids love for life and everything around him!
