Just 15 mins. from Los Gringos. Go to the Gri Gri Laguna and take the boat ride. About 10 US dollars each. Boat ride through the mangroves and out to sea. Bring your swim suit the swimming is great. You can eat in the gazbos on the beach or in the pavion. Fisherman on Playa Magente right in front of Los Gringos. One bad ass lobster. He is the one on the right. The neighbores have cows. Wendy preping for the pig roast. Wolfie enjoys a water coconut. Fresh Coconut is a nice treat. Run Wolfie Run the pig isn't done.

Dominican Republic in Focus. Independant travels in the Dominican Republic. Rio San Juan is roughly half way between Sosua and Samana (about 1 hrs drive from Sousa and 2 from Samana) and it makes a good stopping off point if you are traveling in either direction. Pas de doute, nous sommes de retour à la maison : scooters à contresens, volets clos pour se protéger de la chaleur, voisins d’en face qui hurlent au téléphone… on se sent chez soi ;).
