Sunday, May 24, 2009. Marshmellow Time.{I know, hard to believe that I let Henry eat a marshmellow :) }. We went camping on Wednesday at one of our favorite spots. I think Henry would be totally ecstatic if we took up permanent residence here. He had so much fun being outside and running around with us. We enjoyed ourselves too! Henry loved going on walks to find firewood with Daddy. He did his fair share of dragging big sticks back to our site. This creek runs right behind our camp site.

Thursday, September 24, 2009. Back Home on the Farm. We recently went to the Back Home on the Farm located just outside of Harrisonburg and had a great time as a family. The 60 foot slide that goes underground. Henry doesn't look too happy in the picture but he loved it and wanted to go again. They have their own indoor carousel and Henry loved riding the horses. They even had piglet races! They were pretty fast piglets. Henry loved seeing all the animals especially the goats. And makin' some music.

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Thanksgiving was just great. We were able to share it with Grandpa and Grandma Ford! They drove from Virginia to spend a few days with us, and were we happy to have them. Here is our spread. We also had the senior missionary couple over as well as one other couple in the branch. It was yummy and we were all stuffed! Adelle, awaiting her meal patiently. Cade being silly, and Brinly just a cheesing at the Thanksgiving feast. This is the gang, unfortunately, it's blurry.

They had so much fun and have continued to have fun with this great hid-a-way. Shane took most of the week off to spend with the kids, and it was awesome. Just look at their faces! Thursday, September 29, 2011. Grandpa Stones, me and Adelle Jan. 2010. Well, I think it finally hit me last night that Grandpa passed. I was making a written list of memories…and it made me miss him. He will definitely be missed. Such a wonderful man. I love him. My very first memory of him includes driving up to the Texaco station after a long drive from California or TX with him standing outside of the station store doorway. We always knew there was a treat involved when we saw Grandpa first thing!

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Winter and Valentine's Day 2012. Winter this year was much more tame compared to the previous winter's we have experienced here. But we did have a few whopper storms. These are just a few pictures of our front yard and driveway. Pretty, isn't it? Stud of a man, Shane, snow blowing. Need to document this, we may not be here forever. Valentine's day was fun. The kids had more candy than they will ever need, but it was fun nonetheless. Yummy, lovable breakfast:).

Monday, January 16, 2012. Christmas Whicker Reunion 2011. Our Christmas adventure began on Christmas Eve, as we flew from Flint, MI to Las Vegas, Nevada. It was an early start, as we are 4 hours away from any major aiport:). It was rather eventless, fortunately, and the kids were stoked about flying in an airplane and seeing their cousins and grandparents.
