Some random comments on being lost (in another country). 金曜日, 5月 19, 2006. In Japan just finished. Golden Week is a series of 4 national holidays over a 7-day period. I spent my Golden Week in Kyushu. It was my first trip so I tried so see and do as much as possible. Of all the possible places in Kyushu to go, I picked Kumamoto, Oita and Fukuoka. Surrounded by a garden and small waterfall it was paradise! If you want details on places to stay or questions on getting around, feel free to post a question.

It was a nice break from the rain we've been having lately. Perfect weather for hanami - cherry blossom viewing. i put my skateboard aside and joined friends for a bbq at osaka castle park. it was great! I'll try to find time to add some pics. I recommend using different wheels and some cut 'n' shut tires, using less internal limiting in the dampers, and raising/trimming the body some. Due to the snow shortage this year conditions aren't as good as previous year's. For Kansai people the easiest place to has been Biwako Valley, but this year I'd recommend driving a little further and head to Hachi Kita. There are many course to ride, from a 360 degree panoramic course to the long 4km course. I'm sure you'll find a course that suits your style.

While picking up some things in my local Joshin I was surprised to find that Yokomo had come out with a 1/32 buggy and it came with a 2.4 GHz radio! After analyzing the sound a little more I came to realize that it was probably my motor that was damaged. After getting home I took the motor apart but was unable to fix it on my own.
