One night, dinner consisted of roasted cauliflower, sweet potatoes, and carrots tossed with olive oil and rosemary. YUM. Our life. One blog post at a time. Saturday, October 27. This is the first time I've made lasagna and it got a very warm reception from Dave. We used some frozen red sauce made form his mom's recipe (his favorite), added some tomato sauce and italian sausage. Then noodles and cheese, in layers of course. Lasagna with no onions! Amy and I opted to drive the southern, longer (8.5hr) route, south to Bakersfield, and then east and up the back side of the Sierras. There was a huge storm that closed the northern, faster (6hr) I-5 route. Yes, you read that correctly. This is a huge dried up salt bed.
