Stamping and other stuff. Sunday, May 25, 2014. Horse Frontier Thinking of You. Does anyone else do this? You see a stamp set that you just have to have. Finally, you order it. Then it sits. That's exactly what I did with the Horse Frontier stamp set. And now it's going to be retired as of midnight May 31. I'm happy with the results. What do you think? The horse image was stamped with Black Staz-on ink. I used Baked Brown Sugar, Soft Suede and Early Espresso to colour the body. A little touch of ...I mat...

Stamping and other stuff: July 2014

Stamping and other stuff. Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Inspired by St. John's Jelly Bean Row. My niece visited the Maritimes recently and took some lovely photos, including one of what is known as Jelly Bean Row in St. John's Newfoundland. They are vibrantly coloured Victorian row houses. And perfect to use as an inspiration for colouring with Stampin' Up's Blendabilities. So I immediately got out cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black ink and my Stamp-a-ma-jig and went to work. Here's a recap of materials used:.

You won't find it in the 2015-2016 Catalogue, but it can be ordered through my on-line store here. Now, let's see if I can remember what colours I used! This ...

Stamping and other stuff. Thursday, November 28, 2013. I have been a bit obsessed with making rolled paper flowers after seeing a wreath on Pinterest. Just as there are many Best Of lists at this time of year, for everything from music to fashion to news stories, we thought we would do a Best of The Wacky Watercooler Blog Hops. It's a Halloween theme using the fun set Holiday Home. But, what drew me in was the sponging she did to create a spooky-looking sky. It is amazing! Finished...

I love colour challenges for that reason and Buffy has picked a doozy! Just look at this combo:. You can see what the Watercooler Design Team has come up with by clicking here. I have probably used the Pool Party more recently than the others, but it is not a colour I reach for often. And I like all these colours! I immediately thought of a sample I had just ...
