Lost In Time IV. Just another WordPress.com site. Laquo; Hello Canada – it’s good to be home. Feeling Hot Hot Hot! Having been without Internet for a few days we are good to go now and bring you up to date. Our last post had us docked at Brewerton, NY on the Erie Canal after continuing to slip under low bridges. We departed Brewerton with the intention of staying over night in Oswego BUT when we turned our nose towards Lake Ontario and saw this…. We saw some Canada geese and decided to follow them home.

Lost In Time IV. Just another WordPress.com site. Laquo; We’re back! Feeling Hot Hot Hot! With our treat cupboard fully stocked, we left the dock and continued our journey north. We transited our second flight lock today. The heat and humidity of temperatures in the high 30’s took its toll on us. We resorted to ice cubes in our hats and sought shade any way we could. On our way back from a great fish and chip dinner (why not more food! We enjoyed this view of the dam at Hastings lock. From your own site.

Hooray! We are starting up the Trent Canal tomorrow morning heading to Georgian Bay and our home port in Britt. Update and pictures to follow. We departed the Port of Orillia this morning bound for Port Severn. We had 2 locks, 1 railway swing bridge and a marine railway (the Big Chute) before we made today’s destination. For a while we left civilization behind and enjoyed the solitude of the river…. Once lowered into the water we entered and they raised the slings…. View from the top! They drove us back...
