We heard rumors that the Italian regional trains between Cinque Terre were going on strike for 24 hours starting last night. We already have tickets to Nice booked from Monterosso for 11:00am this morning. PROBLEM: We are not in Monterosso. we are in Vernazza. 3 km over a friggin mountain. So we got up early this. Tuesday, September 12, 2006. I took a trip to Multnomah Falls with my friend Josh Vail, and a coworker of his, and we stumbled upon one of my favorite actors of all time! OK, not really, but he is a pretty funny actor and recently checked into a rehab center near Newberg, Oregon. He was very social but wasn't signing any autographs. We hiked up to the top of the falls right in front of him - he was doing impersonations and funny voices the whole way up. He seemed like a pretty cool guy!

Monday, April 21, 2008. Andy and I have found a new joy. We take our Skip-Bo and go to the Starbucks just a ways away. We grab a cup of coffee and go outside to the patio to enjoy. We are thankful they were able to take time out of their busy schedules to give us some much appreciated company and fun. Thursday, May 01, 2008. This last weekend was a blast. We celebrated Dad's/Mike's/ DIL's. Birthday, stylishly, here in sunny Florida! We checked out The Kennedy Space Center, Myakka. River State Park, The Dali Museum (St Pete), and The Sarasota Wine Festival. We also made coffee, made some extra tasty food, played fun games ( SkipBo. And enjoyed the company of Heyford.
