Wednesday, June 16, 2010. But for one child, it worked. We struggled throughout the school-year to get him to do the work, to then turn the assignments in - with his name on it! To bring homework home AND complete it, and to care that this was important. In spite of being smart, he just didn't seem to care this year that he was becoming a "D student." We were scared for a while, that he would be left home to think about what he was missing out on . . . but he did it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

e life: April 2 & 3
http://eggettblackandwhite.blogspot.com/2011/04/i-love-general-conference-is-that-too.html
Monday, April 4, 2011. April 2 and 3. I love General Conference! Is that too nerdy to say public-ly? We began watching Conference a little late (Miss KD and Miss MK had a birthday party to attend and so their father took them and I felt the need to "organize myself and prepare every needful thing" so I checked on the bathrooms the children had cleaned and vacuumed, organized and cleaned so as to feel at peace as I watched Conference during the weekend). We sustained our leaders! April 5, 2011 at 4:17 PM.

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Abbi was the Tooth Fairy. I had a great time being with the girls at their school dress up parade on Friday. After school we stayed dressed up and took some pictures then headed to see Mark at the Pharmacy. Later in the evening we attended a Trunk-or-Treat at the church. What a day of fun! Another year of no purchased costumes. I love frugality! Brooks was Barry B. Benson. From a Bee Movie). Annabelle was Hannah Montana. Creating Sweet Memories Together Mark and Heidi Romer.

Something Worth Fighting For: August 2010
http://romerfam.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Mark and I woke up one morning, looked at each other and felt an adventure coming on. We decided to drive to Vancouver, BC Canada. It was pretty uneventful, but we enjoyed it. Brooks had the girls under control in the back seat, while Mark and I enjoyed the front. They are so much fun. The city was really pretty. We are really blessed to have such a wonderful land to live in with freedoms unlike any other. Creating Sweet Memories Together Mark and Heidi Romer. Abbi has really L...

Something Worth Fighting For: More to come...
http://romerfam.blogspot.com/2010/10/more-to-come.html
Thursday, October 28, 2010. After moving back from summer work we took some family time and went camping in Island Park. While we were there, I thought it would be great fun to drive to the top of Sawtelle. It was beautiful. Too bad we can't park our house up there. So other than Mark and the girls starting school, my traveling between here and Idaho Falls and trying my darndest to figure out my own website, it is beyond hectic to say the least. We are all alive and doing well. October 28, 2010 at 5:41 PM.

Something Worth Fighting For: Gasworks Park
http://romerfam.blogspot.com/2010/07/gasworks-park.html
Wednesday, July 28, 2010. We were able to go to a dog show here in Seattle. The kids loved it! We saw this turtle there just roaming to advertise a reptile show in the kids arena. Super cool. After the show we took the kids to gasworks park. The view of Seattle is by far the most attractive from this park. The kids spent a good while rolling down the hill (which is no small hill). Brooks, on the other hand, tried to run down only to face plant time and time again. What a dude. They are so adorable!
