http://lakerelativelycrazy.blogspot.com/2011/08/bad-boggers-grocery-shop.html
Updates from the road on Steve, Erin, Wynne, and Adam's life in Muscat, Oman. Thursday, August 11, 2011. Bad Boggers Grocery Shop. We're clearly lax bloggers but it turns out there's an app for that. Now I can blog from my phone. Here's some photos from the grocery store. I bought passion fruit from Uganda. I didn't know Uganda exported anything. Not sure what these are:. And since I'm on a roll. Here's Eve swinging. Note that she's been helpfully taped to the swing. Maybe we'll get back to blogging soon.

Ma vie en rose au tropique!: September 2011
http://bella-en-france.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Ma vie en rose au tropique! Saturday, September 24, 2011. My first 5 days in Balikpapan. It is so green here! Lots of motorcycles. The traffic is slow and chaotic but they all seem to know what they are doing. It seems to me that as long as you honk before you pass somebody you are ok. Everybody asks you about your marital status. I have never been asked this question so many times in so little time! The sports facilities are good. I loved the swimming pool! I am passportless. Inmigration procedures ...

Ma vie en rose au tropique!: July 2012

Ma vie en rose au tropique! Sunday, July 22, 2012. Fashion crime scene #12: the market close to my place in BPN. The good thing about this place is that I save money! Don't feel like going shopping. I know I won't find anything my taste. However, this market is not the only place to buy clothes. There are places that carry "western-type" clothes, but I feel the same about them. The only clothing pieces I have bought in BPN are things I have worn to costume parties. Labels: Fashion crime scene. Beautiful ...

Observations in Oman: October 2010
http://lakerelativelycrazy.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Updates from the road on Steve, Erin, Wynne, and Adam's life in Muscat, Oman. Monday, October 25, 2010. Thai, Guys (Chiang Mai). One more thing - it rained so much that instead of mentioning it as a part of each activity and to prepare your mind’s eye: know that it rained hard about 50% of our time in Chiang Mai. The other 50% it was sprinkling or ‘about to pour’. So “just add rain” would be the visual rule here…. Adam) for a week. She's 2 Years Preganant, Due Anyda y. Century until they were dismantled ...

Ma vie en rose au tropique!: May 2012
http://bella-en-france.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Ma vie en rose au tropique! Saturday, May 26, 2012. I went to Lake Toba in northern Sumatra last weekend. It was a nice, relaxing trip despite the distance from Balikpapan! The beauty of this lake, which happens to be the largest volcanic lake in the world, made the one-day long trip (one way) worth the effort! I felt like I was in one of the most special places on earth! I feel so fortunate about being in Indonesia, and being able to visit places that even for Indonesian standards are so remote! Water l...

Updates from the road on Steve, Erin, Wynne, and Adam's life in Muscat, Oman. Friday, September 23, 2011. Wynne has long had an eye for fashion. I've been documenting some if her more recent styles. Belle (that's a necklace in her hair for a crown):. It's always about the accessories. This is her shopping look. That's her brother's hat. We must always pose for photos. Tucking in her shirt is a recent trend. Bubba's shirt and red leggings:. Tucked in Yoda shirt "so the teacher can see my belt.".

Ma vie en rose au tropique!: December 2011
http://bella-en-france.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Ma vie en rose au tropique! Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Learning about the U'was thousands of kilometers away from home. I felt very sad when I read the sign below in the museum because I realized I know so little about the peoples and traditions from my own country. Why did they not teach me this at school? If the average Colombian were at least as respectful to nature as the U'was, then bears would not be on the verge of extinction, and human life would be considered priceless in Colombia.
