Thursday, July 28, 2011. Lunch at work the Danish way. Most of the companies in Denmark have a canteen. It is a system created by the employes for the employes. It is non-profit so the only objective is to provide healthy, affordable and convenient breakfast and lunch for the workers for about US$65/month. My office has a wonderful canteen and I love to have lunch there. We always go down stairs by groups, it's a good way to chat and laugh a little bit in the middle of the work day. Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Trip to Turkey - Viaje a Turquia. After visiting Greece we went to Turkey. We landed in Istanbul. Our hotel was close to the historic downtown on the Asian side of the city. Istanbul is divided by Bosphorus into the Asian and the European side. There are only few Roman ruins as the Persian empire basically built on top of them, but there are still some remains of the Byzantine Empire also known as the Eastern Roman Empire. They offered us apple tea everywhere and Lucas loved it:.

I felt very sad when I read the sign below in the museum because I realized I know so little about the peoples and traditions from my own country. Why did they not teach me this at school?
