Saturday, January 31, 2009. Bald River Gorge Miles:. We didn't decide to go until Friday night. Jennifer wanted to go and Saturday morning, I called Doris (my sister) and she went also. The temp was in the low 30's and the sky was clear. It was an absolutely beautiful day for hiking. We got to the falls at about 10:30 am and took the obligatory photos (see above.) At 10:40 we were on the trail. Jess was getting tired. I could tell this from the four times he fell! Sounds like fun.sorta!
