Four-week workshop on the basics of media in a three-dimensional space. Particle Mind is a playful visualization of brain structures. It's based on a 3D holographic display that blends in physical objects with digital content. The holo-box makes use of the Pepper's ghost. Illusion technique. The Anatomy of Sleep. An iPad app for children and teenagers to explore the biochemical mechanics that make us sleep at night. The app doesn't enforce a linear narrative, but let's users explore the phenomena themselves. Here, you can literally scroll through sleep cycles and see how it effects heart rate and EEG. Anatomy of Sleep was an project in my second semester at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd. Our task was to conceptualize and design an interactive communication system targeted at children and teenagers.

Flying itself is easy, but airports are too complicated. Our app is here to help. From left to right: Flight list, Flight Overview, Process Navigation. An airport can be a confusing place, especially if you're not flying every week. The process from arrival to finding your seat after boarding is similar every time, yet we struggle to find our way. We arrive 4 hours early but still earn despising looks at the counter, because we didn't know that we'd need our passport right now. Where is the next restroom?

A short film I made during a one-week mechatronics workshop. During a one-week introductory workshop to mechatronics, we wired and programmed a five-axis robotic arm. Half-way into the workshop, faced with the question what we should do with the robot, we had a funny idea: Since most robots are generally involved in repetitive tasks, what if the robot bored by its monotonous work tried to commit suicide by pushing itself off the table?
