Wednesday, 3 February 2010. Every corner we turned to seek refuge and appreciate the aesthetics of the gardens, were more and more couples.we didn't know where to look! And we ended up skipping the maze, not knowing what to expect inside! The Bodhi tree that towers tall. Is a symbol of wisdom. The sacred tree beneath whose boughs. Since the remote past. The Indian people have called this tree. The "king of the forest". Some Buddhist scriptures state. That the Bodhi tree emits a mystic music.

Sunday, 27 September 2009. Again I have little time, so this will be brief but I'll share some of the highlights so far. Feel I've settled into life here well. Life is very different - I have a squat toilet, bucket shower and clothes and cutlery are washed in cold water. The children at the school I'm teaching in are wonderful - so kind, happy and many of them have a sweet cheekiness to them! Wednesday, 3 February 2010. Wow, three entries in one day, after not writing for two weeks! I took a trip to Agra yesterday to see the Taj Mahal - it had to be done, being only 3 hours or less away by train from Delhi and I was keen to see if it really was as beautiful and awe-inspiring as I'd imagined.it really was!
