Just another WordPress.com site. How the birds got their colours. In the dreamtime, birds had no colours. One day a black currawong, whilst walking amongst the marshes, stepped upon a thorn. The thorn was embedded deeply within his claw, and no amount of prying would remove it. A crocodile came along and tried to help the currawong.
