I am a ceramic artist living and working in Cape Town South Africa. At this time the main focus of my work is sculptural ceramics incorporating mixed media, although I do functional pottery and murals, using traditional glazes and methods. As women we are often portrayed only at our prime. With my sculptures I am trying to represent the real women we encounter every day; women of all ages, colours and shapes, our relationships with each other, our relationship with ourselves.
