I was born and spent my childhood in Kirkcudbright, in Galloway, Scotland, a small town which has long had a strong artists' community. As children we were given days of freedom to roam the coasts and countryside collecting wild flowers, shells, pebbles and other such delights. I was a founder member of the group Amicus Botanicus and have regularly exhibited with them in London. I also exhibit regularly in Wales. I welcome commissions and have paintings in both private and public collections.
