Serving faith and cornbread. Updated January 13, 2012. Serves 6 to 8 depending on size. 3 large eggs, beaten. 1-1/2 cups canned cream corn. 1-1/2 cups sour cream. 3/4 cup canola corn oil. 1-1/2 cups cornbread self-rising cornmeal. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (NOT self-rising). 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 3 tablespoons lightly salted butter, melted. Saturday, June 4, 2016. This is my latest painting. I live in a rural Zulu community in South Africa. The men in this area have been sidelined and marginalised by the legacy of apartheid. I wanted to paint a Zulu man immersed in God's favour and acceptance. To know that what the past has said about him, and how he sees himself is not how God sees him. In the waiting we create more.
