Saturday, November 1, 2014. This year we spent an afternoon at the corn maze and pumpkin patch! We had lemonade, lots of fried stuff, got lost in the corn maze, took a very dusty hay ride, and got to hang out with cows. lol. For Halloween we had an alien, a dinosaur, a star wars dude, and Jacob! Tuesday, August 26, 2014. BaCk To ScHoOl 2014. Sad day at our house last week :(. My babies had to go back to school. We now have kids in middle school and elementary school. Jacob, 6th grade. He gets to sleep in!

Monday, August 18, 2014. Quick post of pictures for Alyssa's movie star party. Upon arrival parents were given VIP passes and kiddos got to pick out their dress. Time to get dressed up and have some snacks. Time to walk the red carpet! There were stick on mustaches, hats and jackets if the boys wanted to dress up, but Parker was having nothing but the blue dress! Some of our favorite poses. She was not happy about not being able to blow out the sparkle star, so we had a take two with a regular candle.

We said good-bye to cousins. We rode our favorite rides one more time. We had one final lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table. Friday, October 4, 2013. Disney, day 7! Ignore our wet heads. We were stuck on a coaster in a down pour just before this! Expedition Everest, Jacob's favorite. Return of the "I'm mad" face!

Our kids earn tickets throughout the week for doing their "jobs" and on Sundays they get the spend them. Alyssa bought a day out with Mom or Dad and wanted to go to Disney World. Friday, June 25, 2010. To the "MOON" and back. Ryan and Grace shared a special treat together on Father's Day. He gave her a moon pie :) But not just any moon pie, he showed her how to melt it for a few seconds in the microwave to make oooey goooey yumminess. Needless to say, she LOVED it. Gracie, your Uncle James William showed Granny Pugh how to fix a moon pie the way your daddy does and now she cant stop eating them! We all love them that way. Love you to the moon-pie and back! Monday, April 24, 2006. Homeschooling vs. Public Schooling . Ignorance really is bliss. Why, oh why, did I EVER learn about homeschooling? I did really well in public school, and had fully planned on having all of my kids attend and do well in public school. Then, one day, I started reading. The more I read, the more I felt that public school wasn't the best way to educate my kids. After much research and soul-searching, I finally decided to homeschool. Why do I feel such contempt for public schooling?
