Sunday, May 17, 2015. We had a quiet Mother's Day weekend and took advantage of the sunshine to go fishing. I don't yet have my fishing license (that's as story for another time) but that gave me plenty opportunity to help the kids. Jenna caught the first two fish (we think it was actually the same fish twice). I don't have any pictures because I was helping and she wouldn't hold the fish. Thursday, June 26, 2014. We did have a unique opportunity to get a "private" sheep and beef barn tour from one of Jacob's friends who was showing both. It was great for the kids to get up close with the calves and lambs (of course I didn't think to get pictures). Here are some shots that can't possibly capture all of the fun that we had, but better than nothing:. Miniature horse and miniature baby. Up close with a baby goat. Everyone hugs the donkey, right? No, just Jacob? Jacob loved the bunnies.
