I wonder whether the fasting person continued after Ramadaan to be as he was during Ramadaan, or is he like her who undoes the thread which she has spun, after it has become strong [cf. al-Nahl 16:92]? And whomsoever Allaah disgraces, none can honour him [al-Hajj 22:18]. How terrible it is, by Allaah, when people only acknowledge Allaah in Ramadaan.
