Saturday, January 4, 2014. Um, food and stuff. I made a couple of yummy things on New Year's Day, if I do say so myself! I made Pioneer Woman's Zannie's Black-Eyed Pea Dip. Which will be the 4th time I have made this for New Year's. It's pretty much a tradition now! I eat it with tortilla chips. Also, I always use canned black-eyed peas with jalapenos already in them so I can skip the step of adding chopped jalapenos. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. On June 1st, my wonderful grandfather ("Papaw") turned 82. Fortunately, by a lucky coincidence, I was off work that day, so I was able to go to my hometown and cook a meal for him, my grandmother, my mom, and my stepdad. I did the cooking and preparing during the day, and my mom came home and handled the grill after she got off work. Courtesy of Pioneer Woman, of course. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Went shopping with some family.this little member of my family passed out on the way home after eating a blue sucker. Also, I bought my outfits for my engagement pictures, which we are taking on September 29. Yay! Made Oreo Cheesecake Cookies. They were good, but I scooped them too small and therefore baked them to a point at which they were not soft anymore. Lesson learned! The dough was delicious. Went out to eat at Logan's with Phillip, Beth, and Kevin.

Wednesday, September 7, 2011. SoI made an 88 on my first nursing test today! I studied until I knew the material and I prayed a lot. It paid off! God is so good. Also, I came across this image of a party for a nursing graduate on Pinterest yesterday, and it is the cutest thing ever!
