Growing up, my family always went camping with my mom's side of the family over the week of the 4th and had a fun celebration around the campfire or watching fireworks. They have a few likes and dislikes but don't have the details locked down. And that's why we make a perfect pair! I come together with a few samples that go in different directions (keeping in mind their original likes and dislikes) and then the client can give me much more specific requests based off of the samples I've made. We got to practice our skills the last couple weeks while everyone has been passing around the sniffles. I torsdes hade vi en "hjärtmiddag" som jag var mer eller mindre (mest mindre) del av. Vi gjorde pasta själva och alla utom jag åt 3 olika sorters hjärta! Jag kirrade efterrätten, som sig bör. Hjärtmönstret som jag spritsade med chokladmaräng försvann när jag dränkte min tårta i riven choklad, but one's gotta do what one's gotta do. More is more. Choklad-, citron- och marängtårta.

Back then a piñata was THE thing. haha at least for me.
