I had gotten the girls up this morning, got them dressed, and went in the kitchen to make breakfast while they played.they got really quiet; so I walked into the living room to find them both sitting in the laundry basket! Jerry and I started this blog so that we could keep family members and friends updated on the progress of the upcoming arrival of our twin girls. We hope that our story will help others who might be going through the same challenges we faced in trying to start a family. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Gulf Shores Beach 2011. In August, we went to Gulf Shores for a much needed vacation with the girls! We had a blast, and Eva Marie and Ella Kate loved it! None of us wanted to leave! She did enjoy the pool too! It makes the trip go much easier! We ate some great food; the girls love eating fried fish! Awake and ready for the beach! Ella Kate would have stayed playing in the sand all day if I would have let her. Eva Marie's first time floating in the ocean.she loved it.

Monday, February 28, 2011. Getting Ready for a Nascar Race! Yesterday, Jerry was watching his usual Nascar race, and he always likes to log into his computer and listen to the drivers. Well, Eva Marie has become intersted in doing the same! She will walk up, Jerry will give her the other part of the ear phones, and she will listen. I'm not sure that I want her listening the whole time because I am sure there are some things being said that she doesn't need to hear! Mommy is hoping it wasn't something bad!

Monday, September 19, 2011. It has been forever since I posted. Life has been crazy since August. We are on the go all the time! It won't slow down either until after Christmas. Life has been a little busy lately, with football season coming up and the girl's 2nd birthdayy party; my mind is running in a million directions! Eva Marie loves to slide; even in a pool.ready, set. Monday, January 17, 2011. Time flies when you're having fun! I cannot believe that we are halfway through January, and I have not posted anything since before Christmas! The girls had a great time, and they throughly enjoyed their presents from Santa! They have grown up so much in the past few months. It's amazing the things they can do and say now!
