June 19, 2010 at 11:26 am. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch…. My RE personally called me this morning to deliver the news that of the 12, 6 were mature (expected) but only 2 fertilized with ICSI. It’s a bit of a letdown after yesterday’s excitement over the 12. I’m trying not to think about how last time I had three and only one made it to a day three transfer. I’ve got every bone in my body crossed that I get to make that drive down out of the mountains one more time. No news = good news?

I’m 29 and have been trying to conceive our first little one since July of 2006. Way too many cycles of babymakin’ have resulted in zero pregnancies and a distinct feeling that something may be amiss. In August 2009 I was diagnosed with elevated FSH – premature ovarian failure – and we subsequently failed our first IVF cycle. Oh yah, I have qualities other then infertility? When I got married at 21, I never thought my ovaries would be calling it quits before my 30th birthday. Blog at WordPress.com.

No news isn't always good news. Saturday, June 8, 2013. I'm reluctant to admit it, but it seems that Charlotte. We're getting along a lot better though. It's been more than a week since she last told me, "Mommy, I love you, but I don't like you very much.". And some days, she does take a nap. Then there's Maggie. She is the most laid-back, easy-going child I could imagine. She asks to nap when she's tired, and if no one pays attention, she just falls asleep wherever she happens to be. How we got here.
