Thursday, March 31, 2011. Okay, I'm going to be the impossible proud parent here. My. Was published in the April/May issue of Sew News! Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Once again I had the privilege of spending a weekend with fun and talented ladies! We started on Thursday night and finished up Sunday morning. I especially enjoyed that I got to sew this weekend. And sew we did! Of course, we also got to laugh. Cathy is obviously having a good time here as she sews her cute little chicks for a baby quilt.

Mullis, Joyce Field of Chocolates: July 2011

Sunday, July 24, 2011. 4 Out the Door! I have felt such an urgency lately to get projects finished. It could be because I have so many going! I had success this weekend - 4 quilts going out the door! 2 are baby quilts for Project Linus. The pinwheel quilt is going to a professional quilter (machine quilting is just not my thing - I only do really small ones). I started this quilt about 3 years ago and just finished it a few months ago. Getting this one out the door is a real accomplishment! Seemed to hav...

Sunday, October 2, 2011. Gary (Patrick's Dad), Patrick and Kelly and the signature quilt. Diane, our dear friend, Kelly and Patrick - Lots of smiling that day! They were married in Montego Bay, but 2 weeks ago there was a reception for them here in town. I gave them the quilt before the party started so it could be displayed for all who participated to see. Love and best wishes to Patric and Kelly. A very special couple who now have a signature quilt to cuddle with. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Her Royal Highness: Queen of the Nuts. Saturday, February 21, 2015. Well, I intended to count this year all Jay.but where is Jay? January and February have been brutal. Just seemed like one crisis after another. I guess my jay is that I'm still breathing.I survived. Work has been crazy (who said there is no crying during tax season? It was so bad that I swore at work! That most definitely shocked my co-worker, who has known me for years! Snowbird is in a few weeks. Maybe by then I'll catch fire and b...

It's All Good, It's All God: Struggling
http://handsandfeet-brenda.blogspot.com/2011/09/struggling.html
It's All Good, It's All God. My Life on Earth. Thursday, September 1, 2011. It's funny how parenting is such an emotional roller coaster. Why is it that I see my kids better than others see them? I know my children's faults and strengths, yet everyone else seems to only see the faults. Then the faults are belittled. Instead of simply correcting and focusing on the strengths, we have to belittle them. Just confused as a parent; how do you deal with what others think? Know it all, bully? Am I Getting Old.

It's All Good, It's All God: Snow Days
http://handsandfeet-brenda.blogspot.com/2011/01/snow-days.html
It's All Good, It's All God. My Life on Earth. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. We have had a very unusual winter for Alabama, but needless to say we have enjoyed it. First, it started with snow on Christmas day. You can't beat that. Then we got another 7 inches or so last Monday. The kids ended up being out of school for the entire week. So I thought you all might like some pictures of us having some fun on the white stuff. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Blogs I Enjoy Reading.

It's All Good, It's All God: Been a while...

It's All Good, It's All God. My Life on Earth. Thursday, July 21, 2011. Obviously, it has been quite awhile since I have posted anything on my blog. Busy, busy, busy. Life has been interesting to say the least. God has been teaching me lots about myself and my need for Him, my dependence on Him. It's funny how you think you can do things by yourself, to only have God knock you back several steps and say, "No, you can't". By grace I am saved, through love I am being healed. It's All Good, It's All God: Funny...
http://handsandfeet-brenda.blogspot.com/2010/08/funny.html
It's All Good, It's All God. My Life on Earth. Monday, August 16, 2010. I walk pass Mini-Me's bedroom. He is under his sheets with his head covered. I walk down stairs. I see the bar chair fallen on to the aquarium. I pick it up, and go back upstairs to Mini-Me's room. Conversation goes like this (with Mini-Me still under the sheets):. Mommy: What are you doing? Mommy: Why are you hiding? Mini-Me: Because I want too. Mommy: Why do you want to hid? Mini-Me: So daddy can't find me. View my complete profile.
