Blessings in my life. I feel like lately, the only time I blog is with medical updates (that haven’t been the best for awhile). The sermon today was basically that the worst is not the end! Jesus experienced the worst for us so why am I complaining with the immense sacrifice and pain He went through? So it’s time to share my many blessings! I woke up in the middle of the night, Sunday, at the hospital, with drainage that I thought was coming from my incision. I instantly told the nurse, who came to examine then called the on-call doctor. I started oral antibiotics within the hour. By that night, things were SO much worse! We had to wait a few days for the results of the cultures, but the test results from that night were fine – all was normal so why wasn’t I? The only question, why on earth am I getting this now? I keep on praying, Laura!

Bladder inflammation…check, flatulence…NOT ME, but Ray struggles with this🙂, diarrhea…NOT ME – YAY. So the question is, how long have I had this? It's a Wonderful Life. Saturday, May 30, 2015. In November, we endured the freezing temperatures with our fellow Cowboy alumni to celebrate surpassing the State's first $1B campaign goal. I'm not sure what I'll remember more - the cold air or the fireworks. Sam loved every minute.
