Love and Support for Wren Williston. Thursday, September 27, 2012. On September 14 we returned to BC Children's Hospital for Wren's latest check-up. Dr. Davis was happy with her progress and the tests were unable to detect any cancer. The next check-up is three months from now. Wren's Uncle Mike married Cheryl in Port Alberni on September 15. Love and Support for Wren Williston. Saturday, March 9, 2013. Winter is almost gone- though in these parts you never can be sure. This winter has been a great one for watching Chloe and Wren learn to enjoy the ice and snow. Both girls skied 3 km in the cross-country ski marathon this morning. Love and Support for Wren Williston. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. We've just returned from Vancouver to good news. The official report on the MRI shows no evidence of recurrent disease, and Wren's blood counts are approaching normal levels. We celebrated the end of Wren's treatment with our doctors and nurses at the hospital and had a chance to catch up with family and friends in Vancouver. We flew home tonight. Love and Support for Wren Williston. Thursday, June 7, 2012. Good news from latest check-up. Wren is a happy and active little rascal and recently had her first dance performance. She also learned to ride a two-wheeled bicycle on the same morning that Canadian Ryder Hesjedal won the Giro d'Italia. She was clearly inspired by Ryder's efforts. Love and Support for Wren Williston. Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Wren's last check up was February 10th and results showed no signs of cancer. These check ups are always anxious times, but there is little that can be done. Part of the anxiety arises from the fact that "no news is good news"- the results can take several days unless they discover something worrying, in which case the results are rapid. Chronicles of a brand new family. Sunday, July 29, 2012. Christina lake and Mountain biking. Tobin and I rode Flowdown yesterday. This is the newest of our XC mountain bike trails in Revelstoke, and is 7km of super buff singletrack. He did so well! He styled all the bridges, rocky, off-camber sections and bermed corners. We had a party on his birthday at home, then had a free-for-all at the tube park on the hill. It was. INSANE! These guys were lapping me and Nick in the Tube park. As soon as they had their tubes they disappeared.until the 'call to cake' was announced. Tobin, Teagan, Fisher and Thomas. Yeah, bruises, tears. Some pre/post cake carbo loading with Justin Bieber.

Chronicles of a brand new family. Thursday, September 6, 2012. After our time in Hazelton we drove to Prince Rupert, where we left the truck and got on our bikes. Tobin and Nick were on the trail-a-bikes, AMG had panniers and Tobin and I pulled the chariot full of camping gear. We did a similar thing last year, so knew what we were getting in for! It was a great 8 days with fine weather, except for a little rain. Which was very fortunate as we were totally unprepared for rain! Who's driving this thing?

Ofcalaco isn't really a town, it's more of a curve in the road where there's a farm supply store and. nothing else really. However, it's the home to some REALLY awesome people! Blyde River Canyon, third largest in the world. Bun and Pat's (no idea why he's called Bun.). On the way to 'The Shack', and it's awesome swimming hole!
