Wednesday, May 03, 2006. Stuck in the mud. Well, the ireland trip was fun, but it wasn't the greatest success I've ever had. This is a digital image. I used to capture images like it of leaves with the sun behind them so the structure of the leaves shone through. That required a lot of scrambling around on the ground to align the sun behind just the right leaf. Essentially, my images are collages of translucent and non-translucent items built on the lightbox and then photographed. The possibilities are endless. THAT’S WHERE YOU COME IN.
