Tales of life behind the Grey Door. Wednesday, 7 December 2011. This weekend I turned 40. Yep, that's me, captured by a very clever friend. Looking like the love child of Miss Piggy and Kermit in my green mac (a patients relative once told me I looked like Shrek too.). Friend's have turned 40 before me, there have been parties, limo's and wild tales to be told. Small children were beyond excited. Mum and Dad (feeling old! Conversation's with my brothers. Messages from my sister, thousands of miles away.

Tales of life behind the Grey Door. Sunday, 17 April 2011. Twelve Goes to Cornwall. For the next week, we have left Number Twelve and are living here in this beautiful cottage. We've stayed here many times before, so it feels like home from home. Only a lot tidier! Today we popped into Charlestown to have a late lunch at Charlies. It's been a firm favourite since we discovered it last Easter -. With toast almost the same size as small person. We wandered down to the harbour - past these stunning tulips.

Since our return from Cornwall the children have been at home for just 4 sleeps as school holiday's are juggled alongside G and I working.
