Jane's Journey: September 2014
http://janevanzee.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 21, 2014. Kate's Summer Swim and Slow Down. Kate was so excited to make swim team this summer. She has been talking about trying out forever and was on top of the moon when she made the team. Her 1st meet was in Marshalltown. She had quite a few butterflies in her tummy going into it, and so did I! She did really well her first meet, actually placing 1st and 3rd place in 2 of her races. She sat so calmly waiting for her turn to race. She was so looking forward to her season. The words "...

Everyone stayed healthy and cheery (most of the time :). And Kate loved ...

Monday, March 23, 2015. Recap of Christmas Break 2014. Christmas Break was full of lots of events and activities this year. We had to squeeze in a visit to Santa to make sure he knew exactly what Kate and Will were wishing for for Christmas. This year, Kate asked for an IPod Touch and Will asked for the Skylanders Trap team game. Will received a new sled this year. It took quite a long time to get enough snow to use it. But once he was able to give it a whirl he LOVED IT! Kate continues to enjoy adding t...

Jane's Journey: April 2014
http://janevanzee.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 7, 2014. Kate decided she wanted to try cheerleading this winter. One of the awesome perks Brett and I have discovered since moving to DSM is the huge variety of opportunities for kids. You name it and there's usually an organization or league that has what you are looking for! Some of our friends recommended trying the Upward league and we are so glad we did! Way to Go Kate!
