From The Land of Nod- At this point John has outgrown his Mickey Mouse chair from Babies R Us, so we decided to upgrade. They now sell a lunchable style packet that is dirt pudding, I couldn't handle paying a dollar for maybe a 1/4 of a cup of the stuff when I can make a whole batch for not much, plus the fun of cooking with Pete. The kids ended up covered in dirt and earned baths before bed. She is so excited. In Nora's defense Pete tried to help feed her. And Pete's after. I even got a nice smile from him! I rolled a blanket under her bum so she'd fit since she was still a bit small for it, instead of buying the infant insert, which was an extra $20 and has a reputation of being too hot for actually carrying the baby for any amount of time. Friday, February 6, 2015. We cloth diaper. I love it. We did some with Pete only while at home and not at night. With Nora I'm doing it all the time except at night because I haven't yet figured it out. I also started doing cloth wipes with her too. I never even thought of it with Pete, which sounds silly, but I didn't even know about the possibility! Lay one wipe half way on top of another like the above picture.. Fold the bottom wipe over the overlapping top wipe. Finished wipes ready to go to work!

Sunday, May 31, 2015. Pete and Nora on the Komodo dragon statue. We saw all of the animals just like we wanted and surprisingly both kids were in a decent mood the whole time. Nora ended up falling asleep in Australia but slept through it and all the way to the car and the way home! What a good little sleeper! Pete also fell asleep in the car on the way home. Pete in a shark in the new Australia. This little peacock came right next to me while I was rocking Nora. Brussels sprouts, bacon, garlic and onion.

This year e were actually able to go and see what they had, which was a lot! Tuesday, August 11, 2015. The weather has been so nice for playing outside and getting all the energy out of the kids for better naps, and night sleep. Nora is still refusing to walk and ends up doing a bear crawl, especially in the grass. The water table has been one of the best presents, Pete still enjoys it and now Nora loves it too. My kids love cooling off in the frigid hose water. Nora bear crawling through the grass. Normal crawling is still faster. Both kids enjoying the shade and water table.
