So, at my last appointment(28 weeks), I was weighed and had dained 11 pounds in a month. The nurse called me a little piggy but the doctor said he was not at all concerned, and that it was ok because I hadn't really gained anything substantial up until that point. Name (or online name): herlittledream. Location: Brooklyn, NY. Due Date: not sure yet.too early. Feb. or March 2007. Fitness Goals: stay in shape while pg and knock off baby weight after delivery. Favourite types of exercise: treadmill, weights, ab work. Plan to do eliptical at least 3 times a week for 30-35 minutes keeping my heartrate below 140. Also plan to have one session with prenatal personal trainer at my gym to walk me through weights that are safe for pregnancy and exercises that are helpful.

I've been doing well lately. the weather has been truly awful- strong sideways wind and rain in the last couple of days, but i've been walking 6 km or so a day. it helps so much to bring the right music! And due to the crap weather, the path is always empty and i can bop and punch my fist to the music as much as i want to! I'm also doing different kinds of leg lifts most days for different muscles. I really love doing pilates but a lot of the exercises are done on your back which isn't safe during pregnancy. Do any of you know how I can modify the exercises so I can continue doing my current pilates workout or do you think I should just buy a prenatal pilates video? Post a new comment.
