Friday, May 04, 2007. It was a week ago today that we buried my Mom. I still haven't had a big cry - I guess I need to do that soon. I'm dreading going to the cemetary with the kids. Sunday, December 02, 2007. Thanksgiving Dinner was a success! OK, so we had it on December 1 - that's OK. The turkey came out great - just the perfect size, about 9.5 pounds. Spending today being lazy. Everything hurts today - I really have to get this arthritis checked. Don't know how many more pills I can take for it. Saturday, January 05, 2008. Typical winter weather in Georgia. Here it is, January 5, and it's sunny and warm out - ICK! Had a good 12 mile run this morning - just wish it was colder out. First time I've done hills since October. Legs hurt a bit, but I'll survive. Tonight Tim and I are going out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary - hey, we're late. Thursday, December 06, 2007. Finally, a nice, cool day. Too bad I didn't enjoy my run. I hurt myself running yesterday, same old IT band. Sigh. Went out today, wasn't dressed right, knee hurt. Why do I do this to myself? Here's a picture of the family. I have to upload the ones from my camera and see how they came out. Not sure why allie isn't smiling - just being a Diva, I guess! Saturday, December 01, 2007. Well, it's December 1. I'm mourning the loss of a dear friend who lost her battle to cancer this past Thursday. This is triggering all kinds of emotions. THe loss of my Mom, who I still have yet to mourn., The first Christmas without my Dad, almost 36 years ago. Why is this cancer attacking everyone?
