Something that we do. Monday, December 29, 2014. Leading up to Christmas. After Thanksgiving Jared had to go out in the field again so we had Jared's mom visit us followed by my mom and sister. The weeks leading up to Christmas certainly were busy. I had so much fun decorating the girls' rooms for Christmas this year. It is definitely my favorite part of decorating. Each year an ornament is added based on Halloween costume selection. Here are Lucy's from her three Halloweens so far. 1st year- the pig.

Matt doesn't get very excited about his birthday. He doesn't even really eat cake. (I know what you're thinking- what kind of freak did I marry? Who doesn't eat cake? But he always tries so hard to make my birthday special. A couple of years ago, he threw me a surprise party. One year he drove the thirty minutes from his house to mine at midnight to give me my presents. This year, he decided to have a party at our house. It was one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time! Happy birthday, Oscar Bob!

So most of you know, our sweet Charlotte is here! Actually, she's been here for 2 months and is nearly a grown human being by now, but I wanted to post about the end of my pregnancy before I get into her birth story. I want to write it all down so that I don't forget! So let's pretend I'm still pregnant for a sec. Sleep was another story. I was not comfortable lying down at all. That I do not. I've totally failed on the blog updates. I have lots of excuses though, don't worry. I took Step 3 this month, so sleeping and studying have definitely been priorities. (Step 3 is the third and last test we have to pass to obtain a permanent medical license.) But praise the LORD I am done with those tests! Lots of growth has occurred since my last post! I didn't take a 30 week or a 35 week picture, but here are the last few! I can't believe she will be here in less than a month! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, August 9, 2013. You hurt my feelings. This may be a funny blog title, but it's what I heard the other day, along with some other really funny comments from Mister Man. My apologies for the randomness of this blog, but it's been a super busy couple of weeks, so I'm doing my best just to remember what I planned to say in the first place. Saturday, December 29, 2012. I know, I know! In blogging years, it's been FOREVER since I posted last. So, to make this one quick, we'll get right to it. Bentley turned 19 months old on November 11th and enjoyed his second Thanksgiving. I think he liked the food better this year than last year, as well. We spent a lot of time with family and ate yummy meals filled with delicious holiday staples. So, to get on with it.here's the pictures to prove it! To end the meal.homemade pecan pie! Week 21 was pretty fantastic. We got to see what Charlotte is looking like these days, and my mama came to town for Mistletoe Marketplace! This picture cracks me up. We were taking a little break and sitting on this bench chatting. Charlotte was kicking a lot, and mama put her hand on my belly to feel her. We were in the midst of our little mother-daughter moment, and these two ladies in a booth right across from us just yelled out, "Is it a boy or a girl? And YAAAAAAAAAY for not being sick anymore!
