I thought I'd share my latest project inspired by a piece I saw at the festival. I love love love it! I will be hanging this in my kitchen ASAP! Monday, April 22, 2013. The weather has been crappy this past week and then yesterday was beautiful! Now I just need to cut those and sand them. I will post pictures once I get all my materials ready! Hopefully more updates soon!

Friday, March 29, 2013. The beginning of my dream couch. I was on Pinterest (I am beyond obsessed) and came across this photo. Of a patchwork couch and instantly fell in love with it! I decided at that moment that I had to have one! I was just thinking about getting rid of one of our couches so I thought that would be the perfect couch to make my dream a reality! I started taking the cushion apart by CAREFULLY cutting off the cording. that was a pain let me tell ya! Stay tuned to see the finished couch!

Friday, April 12, 2013. Oh man, I really haven't been keeping up with this blog like I wanted to! Well hopefully that will change soon. I decided I needed to sit down and start working on a list of short term and long term goals for myself. My sister and I went through the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and came up with goals for myself. I am going to share them with you :-). Here is the list of goals I came up with that I would like to accomplish before the end of the year. Lose 40 lbs or more.
