Monday, November 26, 2007. We really enjoyed this story about Jesse because it showed the struggles he went through to try to make himself have a better life. We think that this shows that if anyone tries hard enough they can make a change in their own lives just like Jesse was trying to do. We admire Jesse by how he had the courage to move out of his home without the help of his family. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hello welcome to our blog! CamilleRs Discussion Question #2. Monday, November 26, 2007. CamilleR's Discussion Question #1. Do you think if Jesse and Abel try hard enough that one day they could be very wealthy? November 26, 2007 at 6:09 PM. This is an interesting question, girls. It speaks to the difficulty faced by those pulling themselves up by their own bootstraps. It sounds like it should be easy, but the constant drudgery is hard! The lack of hope can be overwhelming, I imagine. And so much goes wrong. I have hope for Jesse though. November 27, 2007 at 4:35 PM.
