Saturday, December 27, 2008. True Repentance, part 5: The Fruit of True Repentance (2 Cor. 7:11). Paul gave evidence of the fruit of true repentance in 2 Corinthians 7:11: ". For see what earnestness this godly grief has produced in you, but also what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what punishment! At every point you have proved yourselves innocent in the matter. What does your repentance look like? Are you truly grieved over your sin? Grace and peace,.

Chet Daniels: October 2008
http://chetdaniels.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 23, 2008. Pray for India: God's glory in persecution. Please pray for my friends in India. I received an email from Raja, who told me the Christians in his area are facing opposition from some radical Hindu groups. These Hindus are threatening to use whatever means to shut down the churches there. Raja is concerned for the endurance of those who have recently come to faith and asked that we pray for God's work to continue despite this conflict. I am continuing to pray for you and the br...

Crucible of Interruption: On Holiday
http://crucibleofinterruption.blogspot.com/2008/12/on-holiday.html
Space between the life we intend and the life we receive. I love the Christmas season. It's filled with some of the best moments of the year.special time with family and friends, cold weather (occasional snow), twinkling lights, baking, Christmas music, decorations and best of all.the advent of Christ and His long awaited birth. I pray your Christmas was a sweet time of blessing with those you love, celebrating not only the reason for the season, but the reason for life.Emmanuel, God with us! We get to s...

The currency of Grace is where my song begins...: Z is for Zacchaeus, Zoo and Zebra
http://amberburger.blogspot.com/2012/05/z-is-for-zoo-and-zebra.html
Friday, May 18, 2012. Z is for Zacchaeus, Zoo and Zebra. We finished our first year of schooling two boys! Embarking on this task made me so nervous, as schooling one was tough.the thought of adding a pre-schooler to the mix was a little scary. But we made it! Thanks for tagging a long as we went. I hope you had as much fun schooling as we did! Z was, like X, stretched out over several weeks because it is so nice out side. I let the boys play and enjoy the weather. And while at the Zoo, we found a ZEBRA!

The currency of Grace is where my song begins...: December 2011
http://amberburger.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 12, 2011. N is for Noses, Nails and Narwhals. We took the last week off to travel north, so this blog is my attempt to document our schooling from two weeks ago. (we have been traveling for 2 days and just got home tonight so.no promises but I will try my best). We talked about the profound comfort found in this verse. This verse opened a great conversation about Salvation as Titus asked about the end of the verse saying "in Christ our Lord." Our board said, "God is Faithful, You...In ca...

http://amberburger.blogspot.com/2012/04/y-is-for-yellow-yarn-yelling-yard-yuck.html
Sunday, April 08, 2012. Y is for Yellow, Yarn, Yelling, Yard and YUCK! Well, as you may have guessed from the lag in my blog, we like to slow WAY down in the spring so that the boys can spend plenty of time outside. We only have 18 lessons left with Titus' Math and History curriculum and all of his other subjects we will easily finish up in the next two weeks. SO for Justus' Pre-School, I just try to. So for the letter Y we spread it out over a couple of weeks. (hence the lack of blogging). For our "God ...
