Ashley and Taylor in Korea. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Sotonight I buzzed Taylor's head! He let me. It will be perfect for Africa. I think it's a good look for him and I'm pretty proud of myself. This is a before pic from a few weeks ago:. I was having fun. And the thug/I'm about to go beat someone up look:. What did Taylor think of his new look? This was the initial response. But he's slowly adjusting. :). What did you do? Posted by Ashley and Taylor. Labels: Life in Korea. Check out this guy's sweet mullet.

Ashley and Taylor in Korea: October 2011
http://findusinkorea.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Ashley and Taylor in Korea. Saturday, October 22, 2011. Support a School in Africa. I wrote a little about the school in Kyabazaala Village in this post. The school is really struggling to survive though. There aren't really any supporters/donors for the school. Often the teachers go without pay for months. Pastor Kintu gave us a bag of stuff handmade in Africa to bring back to sell. All of the proceeds will go directly to the school. Here is a link to the album on facebook. Posted by Ashley and Taylor.

Ashley and Taylor in Korea: September 2011
http://findusinkorea.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Ashley and Taylor in Korea. Friday, September 30, 2011. When the Supernatural becomes Natural. We serve a mighty God! After what happened to me (Ashley) last night, I am so full of faith and joy. Let me just tell you. He told me that many people have 1 shorter leg. The normal allowance is from 0-5 mm. With mine being at 9 mm, he gave me a heel lift similar to this one to wear in my shoe. So I wore it a few times, but really- what teenager wants to wear a thing in their shoe? Well yesterday I was fed up!

Ashley and Taylor in Korea: July 2012
http://findusinkorea.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Ashley and Taylor in Korea. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. The Dark Knight Rises. Yesterday we went to see the new Batman movie- all 4 of us. Judah did great! He stayed in the wrap pretty much the whole time. We put cotton in both of his ears and also covered his ears/head with the wrap so the noise wouldn't be too much for him. If you haven't seen it yet, you should! Look at the handsome daddy! We stopped on the way home for Taylor to get some street food. Posted by Ashley and Taylor. Sunday, July 29, 2012.

Ashley and Taylor in Korea: January 2012
http://findusinkorea.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Ashley and Taylor in Korea. Saturday, January 28, 2012. Last weekend was a big holiday in Asia- even bigger than Christmas! Most know it as the Chinese New Year. Here in Korea they like to call it the Lunar New Year. We had Monday and Tuesday off of work so we decided to plan a trip somewhere. Instead of allocating a portion of our trip budget to transportation, we decided to stay right here in Seoul and spend 2 nights at 2 different hotels. View from our room. Came rushing over and said "No Photos!

Ashley and Taylor in Korea: July 2011

Ashley and Taylor in Korea. Sunday, July 31, 2011. On Thursday, we left for the mountainous village of Buhweju. It’s located in the Bushenyi region of Western Uganda. One of the pastors I met in 2005, Pastor Israel Naba has planted many churches in this region, and most recently a school. It was great to see everything God is doing through him out there. My safe place in Africa- under the mosquito net nothing can touch me! Listening to Kyalimpa's stories about his trip to the Netherlands- hilarious!

Ashley and Taylor in Korea: August 2011
http://findusinkorea.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Ashley and Taylor in Korea. Saturday, August 20, 2011. 12 hour layover in Bangkok. It happened to be the Queen's birthday while we were there so there were all sorts of things put up in her honor- pictures, gifts, parades, etc. Riding in a tuk-tuk. The signs weren't too easy to follow. It rained big time that evening. I had to cover my shoulders inside the temple. A trip to Thailand wouldn't be complete without a massage! One last view on the way back to the airport. This is why Asians are not fat. Whoa-...

Ashley and Taylor in Korea: March 2012
http://findusinkorea.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Ashley and Taylor in Korea. Friday, March 23, 2012. Hankins Family Photo- in the eyes of a student. This is a picture that one of my elementary students drew- Mr. Taylor, Ashley Teacher (I'm the one with the big nose) and "Teacher's baby." The baby is kinda flying/floating and it looks like he's got an umbilical cord. Is my student really that smart? I'm not sure. Haha. Posted by Ashley and Taylor. Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Ashley and Taylor in Korea: Last 2 days here
http://findusinkorea.blogspot.com/2012/08/last-2-days-here.html
Ashley and Taylor in Korea. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Last 2 days here. On Monday we went to see the Dark Knight Rises. Then we ate Shabu Shabu for dinner. Shabu Shabu is one of my favorite Korean meals. It's similar to a meat and veggie fondue. You cook your meats and all your vegetables in a pot of boiling broth. Normally, there is one pot for everyone to share from but at this particular restaurant, we each had our own. Judah had his own good time. And their dog/baby Minkee. :). The girls (and Judah).
