A life spent sitting down. Quick round-up part 3 – 2016 Edinburgh Fringe. Yet another 'what's on now' choice. I wasn't sure at first, but by the end I could see how good Rachel Fairburn is at stand up. 3.5/5. Robin Boot's Rockomedy: Puns'n'Poses. Good musical comedy and chat. 3.5/5. Wonderful 'best of' from comedy musical duo Jollyboat. 5/5. More comedy songs, this time from someone whose voice was going. Still very good. 4/5. 7 Songs for Geeks. Winter is coming, take off your clothes'. 4.5/5. Obviously,...

A life spent sitting down. Quick round-up part 2 – 2015 Edinburgh Fringe. Life Gives You Lemons. Charming and funny comedy – you might even walk out with a lemon. 4/5. I was half of the audience for this – it should have been a much smaller fraction. I am not going to mark this one, but definitely see if he's doing any guest spots. A life spent sitting down. Tag: Off West End. Macbeth – Greenwich Theatre. The production that is based on the line "If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well / It were done quickly"? But it moves along quickly and if not always too well, then effectively enough. The lighting and sound design works well with the simple set (sheets supported by wooden beams, with three slits for entrances and exits), plus the violence is shown effectively without needing to resort to splatter effects. Fortunately, the venue has six performance spaces, what's on? Magic and Tea With An Evil Genius. Filled a higher proportion of the available seats. A life spent sitting down. Makin' It Rain – 2016 Edinburgh Fringe. I have been extremely impressed with Nicole Henriksen before. This isn't the same sort of delightfully weird show she's done before, and is doing again in another show this year, but a more serious piece about her work as a stripper.
