Saturday, January 19, 2013. Later that night all the girls came over (Kelly, Paige and their daughters) for dinner. Lily you were appointed as Kelly's cupcake assistance and you took your job very seriously, as you can tell from the pictures. When we woke up the next morning we had to feed the cows. Aunt Colleen has Zebu Cows and they are adorable. In order to get the cows to come to the side of the house you have to yell out the back "come and eat cows.breakfast is ready cows.". Hello Mr. Lion. So next ...

Saturday, March 22, 2014. Next I painted the outside of the chalkboard. I wanted it to blend in the kitchen and was not fond of the natural wood look. Testing out the surface of the chalkboard. I also painted the boxes that were going to be affixed to the board. Again with a color that would look nice in the kitchen area. Once they were dry I placed them in the area they would be, using a magazine to test the height. First Visit to Cascades Park (and Voodoo Dog). Indian River County, where mommy is from.

http://attackofthetwins.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Halloween 2014 was going to be the year of costume changes. Our first were at Disney. Our second would be the ones for school and our third would be the ones for trick-or-treating. Why not, I mean Halloween is a super fun holiday all about dressing up! So we found your school Halloween costumes at Costco in early September and they were something that we didn't have. So for school you ladies were dressed up as a witch and a pirate (princess). It was so much fun. We went over to ...

Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Snow Day" Tally 2014. Well, the snow didn't come :( However, with the rain that fell we did get a lot of frozen stuff around the yard. I wanted to take advantage of the "snow day", so I made peanut butter waffles with chocolate ganache for breakfast. After breakfast I declared that we were going on an "ice hunt." We all got bundled up in layers and rain jackets and boots and set out to explore what had frozen in our yard. Just as we got outside it started to sleet. After havi...

Monday, August 18, 2014. What a difference between this year and last! Here are the signs that you were holding in the pictures. When I asked you both last week what you wanted to be when you grew up you both said a cheerleader and then a few minutes later said Nurse and Pediatrician. I hope you both will always love to learn! I love watching your ladies grow and gain more and more independence every day. You did oblige me with one last picture as I was leaving. I was excited to pick you ladies up today ...

Attack of the Twins: December 2013

Sunday, December 29, 2013. Christmas Vacation: A visit to the National Harbor. The beautiful McElroy ladies. Kids and their tech toys. The elusive Finley smile. After a short drive (1 hour is short to us these days) we arrived at the Gaylord National Hotel. We had time time to spare until we were able to go into the show so we explored the hotel and took it all in. It is a massive hotel and it was all decorated for Christmas, it was beautiful! Throwing pennies in the fountain. Saturday, December 28, 2013.

Attack of the Twins: April 2013
http://attackofthetwins.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 28, 2013. It was shortly after our ice cream break that we arrived at our hotel. We were able to check in right away, even though we were a little early. We had to check out the beach really quick before we went up to our room. We weren't in the room long and everyone had their bathing suits on and were ready for the beach. Hello beach vacation :). The sand.oh my what amazing sand. It was like walking on baby powder. It was so soft and so white. Emma, you so badly wanted to pet the sea gulls.

Monday, January 5, 2015. 52 Week Project-Week 1. This year I decided to try and focus on taking a picture of each lady by herself. Today is week 1 of the "McElroy Monday Memory" Project. I figured why not start the project with the traditional "white front door pic." I'm excited to watch the ladies change over the course of a year. Emma - week 1. Labels: 52 week project.
