To begin our annual pilgrimage to Scottsdale, Brad and I decided to leave early to spend a day in Sedona on the way down. We were able to book a last-minute room for one night at the Sky Ranch Lodge. Despite them having a two-night minimum this time of year. The furnishings are rustic but the views have to be some of the best in Sedona (“partial mountain view” from our balcony below). For a sleepy town known for its nature and art, I was surprised to discover L’Auberge de Sedona. Feed for this Entry.

I never tried with the Meetup hiking group because they were typically faster hikers and I was concerned about keeping up (especially with my incessant picture-taking). Author Archive for Cheryl Coon. We started our week in Scottsdale at Troon North. On the Pinnacle course. This is my favorite course due to its boulders, saguaros, and breathtaking views that distract me from its difficulty. Is located around the corner from Troon North. But is a much flatter course with ordinary views. It was still an enjoyable day but with the number of courses from which to choose in the Scottsdale area, I probably wouldn’t return here. The Dinosaur Mountain course at Gold Canyon.

Is aptly named, an oasis with stunning views of million dollar homes tucked into the mountains and the perfect sunset vantage point. We had two meals at Beau MacMillian’s Asian-inspired Elements. Lunch was light but flavorful, with perfectly crispy tempura enjoyed while pondering the infinity pool that we would enjoy after our spa treatments. We have also had quite a few extra-curricular excursions since I last posted. Megan came to visit and we all went to Olympos for the vacation. U2 came to Istanbul on a school night and we managed to get there and back in time to enjoy the show and be back at work. A week at the best rock climbing in Turkey. Georgia on my Mind.

Monday, April 26, 2010. Day #15: counting calories. :/. It's one thing we all hate doing, and one thing that I'm not good at. However, being Vegan makes you feel great, but in order to look as great as you feel, it takes not overdoing it.even on the healthy stuff. Pasta is amazing, nuts are soo yummy and mochi is delicious.but they can call add on the calories super fast unless you watch the serving size. The nice thing is, even if I want a snack.that's what my seaweed is for :). Salad, veggies or soup.

Ja ja ich weiß wir müssen jetzt erstmal noch durch die kalte Zeit aber wenn wir es uns gemütlich machen und schöne Dinge basteln geht die Zeit viel schneller vorbei. Am Wochenende war die Stampin up Veranstaltung Onstage 2016 in Düsseldorf. Ich hatte mir aus den vergangenen Monaten ein Ticket dafür erarbeitet und mich vorab mit ein paar Stampin up Bekannten verabredet , außerdem gab es ein Team treffen. Früh um 7 Uhr bin ich los und hab meine Demo Mutti Martina.
