Bryan Family Circus: June 2014

Follow our adventures as we move and the kids grow. Lockhart, the BBQ capital of Texas. Lockhart, Texas, bills itself as the BBQ capital of Texas. There are two very old places in town (Black's owned by the same family since 1932 and Kreuz open since 1900 with different owners) and one newer one (not sure of the name). We made it to both Black's and Kreuz. Gus even liked the "steak" as he called the brisket. This is the historic county courthouse in Lockhart. I just thought it was a beautiful building.

Follow our adventures as we move and the kids grow. Yesterday was Maggie's second birthday. We started the celebration with birthday donuts for breakfast followed by presents. She had lots of help with her presents. Almost like it was Cadel's birthday. Gus and Cormac felt it was important to read the cards. New sunglasses for her birthday. We were driving down the road and this happened. Yep Those are sheep. Two shepherds and a couple of sheep dogs were herding them across the street. Pat and I began thi...

Follow our adventures as we move and the kids grow. End of the season. The soccer and baseball seasons wrapped up this past week. I think both boys had a good time on their teams. Cormac is a little soccer stud and so fun to watch. Gus really showed so much improvement in his throwing and batting- it was awesome to watch. Royals vs. Yankees. Last weekend we met up with Grandma and Tony at the K for the Royals vs. the Yankees. It was perfect weather for baseball and the kids had a blast! End of the season.

Follow our adventures as we move and the kids grow. Gus started second grade today. He goes solo this week since Cormac doesn't start kindergarten until next week. We took him to the bus stop and he was nervous and excited all at the same time. Here they are hard at work creating projects for each other. They like to each make an example for the others to follow. Gus was working on a jellyfish. Cormac was working on a double-sided light saber project and helping Cadel to finish. Also doubles as a hat.

Follow our adventures as we move and the kids grow. Soccer season comes to a close. Soccer season is almost over. Cormac has one more game tomorrow. Gus' team finished last week. It was a good year. Cormac REALLY loved it. I think Gus is ready to move on to something else (namely baseball in the spring). A stop at the pumpkin patch with Grandma. Yesterday was Cadel's third birthday and he had a great day. He is such a fun little boy- a good amount of ornery with the most perfect freckles on his nose.

Follow our adventures as we move and the kids grow. We had a good Christmas this year. Grandma was here to help celebrate. The kids were very happy to see that Santa paid them a visit. Playing with cool stuff from Santa. Gus and Cormac have been into learning how to cook so I made all the kids aprons for Christmas. This is how Cadel chose to mark the day. He had on khakis but traded those in for his bathing suit. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Bryans! Friday was Gus' 7th birthday. He h...

Follow our adventures as we move and the kids grow. We drove over to Weston, MO, to go apple-picking at the Red Barn Farm. The kids had a good time and could have picked apples all day (even though half of them don't like apples unless they are in applesauce form). After apple picking we drove to another location, Alldredge Orchards, to see if they had a better selection of pumpkins. They did and the kids were super excited to pick out their pumpkins. Cadel has to take along his soccer ball to practices ...

http://trulyblessedwith4.blogspot.com/2011/06/happy-3rd-birthday-isaac-james.html
I am new to this so don't expect anything fancy! Just pictures and short updates so that friends and family can keep up with what we are doing. Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Happy 3rd Birthday Isaac James! He also likes to eat the candy NERBS! He has a huge supply of energy, loves to climb, read books, snuggle(my favorite), play with tractors, be outdoors in the dirt and ride his tricycle. We are so thankful for him and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for our little man! We love you, Isaac!

I am new to this so don't expect anything fancy! Just pictures and short updates so that friends and family can keep up with what we are doing. Friday, August 12, 2011. It's been a while. Mulch is so exciting! This is her famous face right now! Watching the big kids ride their bikes. Opting to go thru the grass to avoid hitting her brothers! Absolutely loves riding her bike! Ella trying to keep up with the boys! I say to smile and he does some funny face just about every time! The best out of 10 or so!
