Monday, December 28, 2009. Samantha had a great first Christmas. I took her and Skylar to the mall to see Santa. Sam was so cute just staring at the jolly fat man in a red suit. Even gave him a few smiles.until I put her on his lap. Then came the screams and tears. No matter how close me or Skylar were it didn't matter. She was not having any part of it. Friday, September 11, 2009. Well it has taken me a bit to get this done, the Summer has just been so crazy busy. But I am doing it now and that's what counts. So lets see. At the beginning of the month Samantha had a check up where she was 26 inches and 15.3 lbs. Sam constantly is looking at food. She wants to be big so bad. So we tried rice cereal. The eating part went great! Samantha also got her first tooth this month. All the drool and nawing on the mom finally paid off! And it is a sharp one!

Friday, October 30, 2009. On Weds. Skylar went on her first field trip with school. They went to Bauman farms and I got to go with her! We had to take the bus 30 minutes to get there. I forgot how uncomfortable buses were, but Skylar loved being able to ride on a big bus. As soon as we got there we all went into a covered area and had lunch. Saturday, August 15, 2009. So today was Skylar's teddy bear picnic. And it was a lot of fun! We got to the park at about 11 this morning so that we could stake our claim on a good spot. All morning it looked like it was going to rain. So all morning we were singing rain rain go away! As soon as the party started though the clouds parted and it ended up being a really nice day. The kids played great and had lots of fun! The big teddy bear was a great success! Even some of the big kids did it too!
