After a weekend with some of my family (all girls which I'll post about later.) I thought I needed to give an update on all things girly:. A few weeks ago Emma got her ears pierced! I know there are just two little shiny flowers on her ears, but she looks so much bigger to me. She has been taking such great care of the new earrings, and I'm so proud of her. This is like a right of passage for Emma in her girlhood. On Saturday, I photographed a wedding with my second shooter, Rachel.who is also a girl.

Earlier this month, the kids and I read a book about a third grader who was learning to ride her bike. The story inspired Emma to try again to learn to ride her bike without her training wheels. For some reason, she was very short and frustrated with me, so Nathan took her to the school parking lot which did the job! He's such a good daddy! Thursday, September 25, 2008. Monday, September 05, 2011. We celebrated our 20th wedding Anniversary this weekend. Our first date was at a Chinese restaurant, so of course, we ate Chinese food. We picked a place that served Vietnamese food, too, and I chose something healthier. Yay! Played "bad-mitten" in the backyard. We are terrible players. LOL! Played "knives" (plastic knives instead of spoons). It was a hoot! Now, I'm back on track, and I believe my stomach and kidneys are thanking me already. :-). Dread weighing later this week.
